Welcome to Great Yarmouth and District Athletic Clubs (GYDAC) website. Formed in 1973, the club offers a warm and friendly welcome to those aged eight and over who are interested in all athletic disciplines.
We hope to encourage athletes from all over the county to come and train with us. Our team of dedicated coaches are here to enable our athletes to benefit from their wealth of knowledge and reach their full athletic potential.
We base ourselves at the Wellesley Recreation Ground in Great Yarmouth, a map of which you can find on the contact page. Throughout the summer we meet at the venue every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7:00pm and the training sessions are usually finished by 8:15pm. Training days do vary during the winter months and more information is available here.
Take your time to look around the site. You will find invaluable information about the various disciplines within athletics. We also regularly update the site with information from the world of athletics in the news area opposite.
